Library Skills Line Up includes three games to help students learn basic library skills. In each game, students place library skill answer cards under the corresponding header card. The included games are:
Answer This: Reviews the different types of books that are found in a library's reference section, including the encyclopedia, dictionary, atlas and almanac. Students read a reference question and place it under the type of book they think holds the answer. Includes four header cards and 32 question cards.
Be a Book Buddy: Teaches book care using happy and sad book faces. Students place picture cards under the appropriate header, such as a book bag under the happy book face and a rain cloud under the sad book face. Includes two header cards and 32 picture cards.
Fiction or Nonfiction: Teaches the difference between a book of fiction and a work of nonfiction. Students select a book title card and determine if it should be placed beneath the fiction or the nonfiction header. Includes two header cards and 30 title cards.
