On his first full day as Mecklenburg County Sheriff Wednesday, Garry McFadden notified the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement that , according to a news release.

The bed-rental program by the end of 2018, up from $8.3 million last year for housing detainees, officials said. The 2018 revenue would be the most since at least 2015, documents show.
