If you’re passionate about social justice issues and want to become directly involved in the Center’s efforts, please consider the following opportunities.
Travel. Participate in a delegation to visit our local partners in Nicaragua and Haiti. If interested, please send a concise note to firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject: “Future Delegation.”
Volunteer. If you are in the D.C. area, we can always use extra hands around the office to assist with projects and communication with our partners. Email us or give us a call at 301-699-0042 to let us know how you would like to get involved.
Share the work of the Quixote Center. Are you a member of a church or community group with an interest in international development? We can provide you with materials to present our work to that group as a fund or friend-raiser and even make a presentation. Give us a call at 301-699-0042 or email us to discuss this option.
Host a Solidarity Supper. Invite friends and neighbors over for a dinner encouraging them to enjoy a meal that might be enjoyed by the beneficiaries of our programs – typically earning less than $2 a day. Use the event to discuss the work of the Quixote Center and engage new partners in supporting our work.
Bill Callahan Memorial Fund. The Quixote Center Board of Directors established the Bill Callahan Memorial Fund in 2012 in honor of Quixote Center’s co-founder, Father William Callahan. The purpose of the fund is to provide money for new work at the Quixote Center as well as for donations to other organizations whose efforts further Bill’s vision for a world more justly loving.
